The Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies has awarded Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke the Best Governor Award for 2013.
The award which was bestowed on Imoke depicts transformational leadership which according to the AES was seen in Cross River State as the Imoke has facilitated rapid infrastructural and human development in the state
At the 4th Annual CEOs Dinner/Awards Nite, held at the Golden Gate Restaurant, Ikoyi, Lagos, President of AES, Dr. Ausbeth Ajagu, said Imoke emerged winner after a verification exercise involving visitation to the 36 states to assess developmental strides of the governors.
Imoke who gave a lecture at the event said he was surprised to have been singled out for the recognition.
