My Classmates Used To Make Fun Of Me Because I Came From A Poor Home – NAFDAC DG

The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Dr. Paul Orhii, has revealed that during his primary school days, he was among pupils that came from the poorest homes.
As a result, he said his classmates used to make fun of him as he could not afford good sandals and uniform while in school.
The NAFDAC boss spoke at the 23rd plenary session of Unity Schools Old Boys Association, held at the Federal Government Girls College Gboko, Benue, at the weekend.
Orhii, who was the chairman of the occasion, expressed delight that 30 years after he completed his primary school education, he was able to rally support from friends and associates to renovate and upgrade the school to a world class standard.
He tasked the old boys on the need to visit their schools saying it will go a long way to encourage the students
