gunmen dressed in military clothes, this morning, Friday September 20
stormed an uncompleted building behind Legislator’s Quarters in Apo,
Abuja killing over 20 people.
The people killed were said to be living in the uncompleted building.
According
to eyewitnesses, the owner of a building close to the uncompleted
building had warned people who pass the night in the building to desist
from it, but they refused. Then the massacre in the early hours of this
morning.
A resident in the area said that at about 12:30am he heard gunshot severally throughout the night, causing panic in the area.
Although the number of lives lost in the massacre has not yet been confirmed, over 20 people are feared dead.
