Miley Cyrus Refuses Career Advice

The “Bangerz” singer has been all over the media as of late, with a racy, twerking-filled performance at the VMA ceremony, some scandalous photos surfacing online and her highly publicized split from former fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Hunger TV published an interview last week in which she went beyond her typically salacious behavior.
When talking about her new image and the new direction of her music, Cyrus told the site, “With magazines, with movies, it’s always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they’re driven by people that are like 40 years too old.”
Cyrus was referring to the cautious response from record executives to the idea of “We Can’t Stop.”
Next, she added, “It can’t be like this 70 year old Jewish man that doesn’t leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear. I’m going out, I know what they want to hear.”
Cyrus’ rep has not returned a request for comment, but the singer has been outspoken her  focus on selling records, so causing controversy is nothing new.
“It’s like a salesperson really, you know you’re like, ‘This shít does not get rid of your wrinkles but if I sell it well enough you know, they’re gonna buy into it’” she continued in the interview. ”And it’s like the exact same thing for me. At the end of the day I want people to buy my records.”
And she always likes to keep people talking.
“It’s people talking about VMAs or talking about my videos, that’s what I do as a job and I want people to talk about those things because it is keeping everyone watching,” she said.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer also explained how it feels to be the most famous (or perhaps infamous?) woman in the world right now.
“It feels pretty sick,” she said.
